Color Compositions for “Fear of Water” by SYML

Assignment Details

Create a dynamic composition using specific color studies that describe the feelings of a particular song. The song I picked was “Fear of the Water” by SYML (music video shown at the bottom).

For both compositions, I used shades of blue as my primary color, as blue most closely resembles water. For the complementary composition, I added yellow accents to represent the upbeat parts of the song. I used a wave pattern for the analogous composition to mimic the song’s up-and-down beat.
